Starbucks Indonesia 14th Anniversary!

In this post, i would like to write my personal review of my favorite and the biggest coffee shop retail in Indonesia, Starbucks. I write this post because yesterday was a special day for Starbucks Indonesia. Yes, they had their 14th birthday anniversary…

Starbucks have become one of my favorite place to drink coffee. Their coffeee taste so good because they use premium ingredients. The interior also well furnished and create cozy atmosphere. It’s also a good place to do your homework or groupwork. There are 5 starbucks shop in Jogja: Jogja City Mall, Ambarukmo Plaza, Galeria, Hartono Mall, and XXI Empire. Their newest shop will also opened soon in Lippo Plaza. My favorite place  is Starbucks XXI Empire because its near from campus.

Yesterday, May 17th, 2016, We came to Starbucks Galeria and took an anniversary promo of Starbucks. I order their anniversary’s special drink: Birthday Cream Frappuccino. Honestly, i didn’t really like it. It’s just a combination of vanilla frappuccino, chocolate sauce, and topped with chocolate whip cream. It’s to sweet for me although i already order the less sweet one.

My favorite drinks are Green Tea Latte and Caramel Macchiato. I think Starbucks Green Tea Latte is one of the best GTL I’ve ever drink. Their caramel macchiato also amazing. The contrast flavor between the sweetness of milk and the bitterness of coffee blended perfectly.

P.S: Please try Hot Green Tea Latte with Soy Milk and no Sugar, Its a must try drink in Starbucks!

They lasted 12 years in Indonesia already? This is either proof of Indonesia’s developing middle-to-high class or the fact that we have less strict taste requirements than our Australian neighbors. Starbucks did close a few outlets there. I do enjoy their drink when I can afford them though…
